Lowry Comes to Life for Year 4

On Friday, Year 4 made their way to Manchester to visit the Lowry. They were blown away by the art that was on display and had a chance to go inside the Lowry 360 where his paintings came to life in an immersive experience. Following their tour, the children got to take part in a workshop where they created art inspired by Lowry. They used skills such as stippling, smudging and sketching to draw a street scene using perspective. Finally, they experimented with painting skills. The children are looking forward to completing these pieces back at school and sharing them with their families.  As always, the children were superbly behaved, amazing all of the staff at the Lowry, and creating some wonderful art. We are very proud of them all!
