PACT

Parents And Children Together

Why do we have PACT workshops?

¨ To strengthen positive links between home and school.
¨ To give parents ideas for supporting their children with their learning at home.
¨ To give parents a greater understanding of how their children are taught in school.
¨ To show the children that their parents understand what happens at school and care about their learning.

What will happen during our workshops?

The workshop will start with a short introduction by your child’s teacher. This might include the expectations of you during the session, some information about the content and teaching methods used in lessons as well as an explanation of the workshop activities. Following the introduction the children will join you and you will work together on the planned activities.

These workshops will enable you to come into school to work and learn alongside your child in the way they do daily here as pupils at Willows.

Every child will take part in these workshops during this term. The idea is that every parent will take part as well.  If a parent cannot attend then a grandparent,   relative or other suitable adult is more than welcome to join us. We do however only have space for 1 adult per child at each session.
