Countdown to Christmas!

School has been full of festive excitement as we counted down to Christmas! Our celebrations began with the KS2 Christmas Concert at St Chad’s Church, where children shared the story of Christmas through the theme of light. The concert was beautifully performed to a packed audience of proud parents and carers.

This was followed by a wonderful week of Early Years and KS1 Nativities, with our youngest children shining in their costumes through confident speaking, singing and dancing - for many, it was their first time on stage!

 Our school choir spread Christmas cheer by visiting local care homes and performing at a Carol Service at St Chad’s Church, enjoying the experience of singing traditional carols.

Children also enjoyed a visit from a travelling pantomime, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, full of laughter, music and audience participation. Nursery and Reception children were thrilled by special visits from Mr and Mrs Claus, who shared stories and gifts, creating great excitement across school!

Festivities ended with a joyful KS1 and KS2 sing-along, bringing everyone together to celebrate with favourite songs and Christmas classics.

It has been a magical few weeks. We wish all our families a very happy Christmas, filled with love, peace and happiness.
