Year 2 Fun in the Sun!

Year 2 took a trip to the seaside, where they splashed, played and made memories.  We began our day on the sand, building castles and writing messages in the sand before we then braved the cold water and went for a paddle in the sea.  We soon dried off in the sunshine and ate our packed lunches together.  Once our lunch boxes were empty, we had a 'Mr Whippy' ice cream (which left us with sticky hands) and went into the arcades to play on the 2p machines.  It was an amazing way to end our Year 2 journey!
