Chicks Hatch in EYFS!

Reception and Nursery have enjoyed a truly special experience over the past two weeks as they welcomed some very exciting new arrivals!  The children had the wonderful opportunity to observe chicks hatching from their eggs, watching in awe as the tiny cracks appeared and new life emerged.  As the days went on, they carefully followed the chicks’ growth, noticing how they became stronger, more active, and how their soft feathers began to change.  One of the highlights for many was the chance to gently hold the chicks, helping to build confidence, curiosity, and a real sense of care and responsibility.  It has been a memorable, hands-on learning experience for everyone involved.
