Clubs In Focus!
We offer a wide range of lunchtime and after-school activities for the children. All of these are organised by the school staff on a voluntary basis; we see this as a very important part of each child’s development. The clubs change each term and currently include Art, Creative Book Club, Girls Football, Hockey, Photography, Netball, Cooking, Football, KS1 Choir, KS2 Choir, Lego, Reading, Recorder Club, Athletics and KS2 Performing Arts. Included in the offer are a wide range of sporting after school clubs which are free for all children and run every night of the week. A range of inter and intra events run throughout the school year, giving children opportunities to take part in competitive sports at different levels. These competitions also allow the children to gain an understanding of competing and how to perform on a wider stage. We know that the children love to come to these clubs, and we are always grateful to the staff for their time and energy in facilitating them.
This week with Miss Jones, Creative Book Club took a moment to reflect and remember our fallen soldiers. To pay tribute, the children created a beautiful poppy window display using different materials to decorate the poppies.
