A Gruffalo! Why, Didn’t You Know?

Year One had a wonderful time at Birches Valley. They explored the Gruffalo trail and collected a bank of super adjectives to support their character descriptions back at school. The children used their senses to describe what they could hear, smell and see, and will create poems using their first hand experiences. The children also completed one of their 50 Things at Willows and enjoyed connecting with nature whilst hugging a tree!
