Sewing Up a Toy Story in Year 3!

Year 3 enjoyed a wonderful end to our Toy Story-inspired mini adventure this week, by sewing our very own hand puppets!  Over the past few weeks, we have researched, designed and planned new puppet characters for Andy’s toy box, and today was the exciting moment when our ideas came to life.

Armed with fabric, thread, buttons, and plenty of creativity, the children worked carefully to sew their final designs. We were delighted to welcome parents and relatives, who joined us with enthusiasm, smiles, and endless patience to help make our puppet-making session a huge success. 

The school hall buzzed with teamwork, concentration and pride as each puppet began to take shape. By the end of the afternoon, we had a colourful collection of unique creations - and a room full of very proud Year 3 designers.  Andy would be delighted to receive them, bravo, Year 3!
