Perfect Pizzas in Year 3!

Year 3 have been working very hard in their Design and Technology lessons this half term to research, design and make their own pizzas.  We started off by tasting various pizzas and toppings, and researching on the iPads to see what flavours of pizza are already being sold.  Then we worked to design our own creations, and, after practising our chopping skills, we made our pizzas.   After looking at the basics of food hygiene, we had to hand stretch the dough, and use skills of spreading, sprinkling, slicing and arranging our toppings before they went in to the oven.  When we returned to the classroom, we had to design and build our own pizza boxes so that we could safely transport our pizzas home.  We were very pleased with the incredibly tasty results!
