Farm Fun in Nursery!

As part of our Story Book Curriculum Mini Adventure ‘Farmyard Fun’, our Nursery Preschool children enjoyed a truly wonderful adventure to Burntwood Alpaca and Animal Farm.  It was a day overflowing with excitement, discovery and plenty of animal encounters.

The children loved feeding the alpacas, goats and sheep - and were especially delighted by a very chatty cockatoo who kept saying “hello” to them throughout the visit. Giggles all round!

They explored an incredible range of animals, from cheeky monkeys to tiny guinea pigs and everything in between.  During the hands on session, the children had the chance to meet and gently stroke an owl, an alpaca, a snake, a tortoise and even a Shetland pony.  Their confidence and kindness with each animal made us so proud.

Our Nursery children were beautifully behaved, wonderfully brave and full of enthusiasm from start to finish.  Well done, Nursery - you were amazing!
